Teen charged with more than 60 offences
A 19-YEAR-OLD Rockhampton man has been charged with more than 60 offences following investigations over the past fortnight in towns from Rockhampton to Bundaberg.
At 11.55pm, officers observed a reported stolen vehicle on Lower Dawson Rd in Allenstown on Monday.
Police will allege they attempted to intercept the vehicle, however the vehicle was driven into the police car before it drove off.
It will be further alleged that between 9am and 10am, a man entered a Dunkirk St residence in Bundaberg and stole a number of items on June 19.
Police located the man in Biloela on Tuesday after allegedly evading police earlier in the day in Rockhampton.
A 19-year-old Rockhampton man has been charged with nine counts of enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence, one count of attempted stealing, 10 counts of burglary, one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle, one count of driving an uninsured vehicle, 18 counts of driving a motor vehicle without a driver licence, one count of fraud, and seven counts of failing to stop a motor vehicle.
He is scheduled to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court today.
