Suspicious fire near tyre store rings bells for police

POLICE are looking for witnesses to a suspicious fire in Albion last night.

An industrial bin behind a tyre business on Taylor Street was set alight around 3am.

The fire caused damage to the exterior wall and internal supports after the fire entered the roof area. 

Emergency services were quickly able to extinguish the fire. 

Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area around time of the fire and witnessed any suspicious activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
