Sunbury to rebuild its fortress after demolition

SUNBURY's fortress is in tatters after Bargara's hit-and-run mission, but the Blues have a chance to set a new foundation.

The Maryborough club was comprehensively outplayed in its 7-3 loss, but that horror 90 minutes has been put far out of mind by the club's players.

Coach Andrew Howlett said the players' focus was on United Warriors, who they host at Maryborough Cricket Club.

"Last week was one of those games you just have to write off,” Howlett said.

"United are on the bottom but they played in the grand final last year. They're very unpredictable, and it will be a hard game.”

Doon Villa face Brothers Aston Villa, while Jets host Across The Waves.
