Successful day for riders

THREE young members of the Isis District Horse and Pony Club competed in the Fraser Coast Interschool Equestrian Competition at the Maryborough Showgrounds.

They represented St Joseph's School, Childers against more than 240 riders from all over the State.

Leigh-Anne Fredriksen, the mother of two of the girls, said they thought the day was fantastic and each managed to bring home two ribbons from the competition.

Sophie received a first in Rider class and Laura and Caitlin performed exceptionally well in the Led and Hack classes as well as the Riverside Rumble.
