CQUniversity students embrace overseas adventure
A CHANCE to experience how teaching and nursing differs in other the parts of the world is exactly what two groups of CQUniversity students will experience in coming months.
A group of 10 Bachelor of Education (Primary) students will head to India in January while the Nursing contingent will travel to Singapore in December for an immersive clinical experience.
For Jolene Belford it will be her first time overseas and she can't wait to experience how other teachers teach.
"Essentially we'll be experiencing first hand one of the most sustainable education systems," she said.
"I'm also looking forward to experiencing the culture."
Bachelor of Nursing student Donna Larsen said it would be interesting to see if there are many differences in nursing homes in a very family based culture.
"It will be good see what could work here and what the benefits would be," she said.
