Student voices join in mass choir

ALMOST 500 students from Bundaberg region primary schools got together yesterday for a mass musical event.

Sharlene Peterson, the Bundy Crush Sing a Song of Difference co-ordinator, said the students came from Alloway, Kalkie, Moore Park, Walkervale, Woongarra, Bundaberg South and Bundaberg West state schools.

“You could see the enjoyment in their faces as they sang the songs,” she said.

The event, which also featured the University of the Third Age (U3A) choir, used to be part of Bundy in Bloom, but this year became part of the Crush Festival.
