Staff banking on comfy uniforms
IT IS not every day that you see a bank manager coming to work with his teddy bear tucked safely under his arm, and his bank staff rolling up to work dressed in their pyjamas.
But last week, that was exactly the scene at the Bourbong St Bank of Queensland Branch.
The branch came dressed in their PJ's to help launch the bank's annual charity - Banking on our Kids, which raises money for Children's Hospital Foundations Australia.
Manager Peter Glover said it was the ninth year the bank had held the charity.
Mr Glover said all money raised during the month of July would be shared among five partner hospitals, including the Royal Children's Hospital.
Mr Glover said a few eyebrows were raised at the switch of attire .
"It was pretty comfortable - I could get used to it quite easily."
