Song to raise funds for flood appeal

A BUNDABERG musician has re-recorded his self-penned song inspired by the floods in the region and will soon start selling it to raise money for the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.

Pete O’Brien’s song We All Live In The Same Town was produced by Tony Byrne in his Sunshine Coast studio - even though the singer could not actually get to the studio because of the floods.

Instead, he recorded the guitar and vocals in Bundaberg and sent it to Mr Byrne, who laid other tracks over the top of it to create the final version.

The single will soon be available for sale on iTunes.

It has also been released to radio stations around Australia and Mr O’Brien hoped they would put his tune on to their playlists.
