Six on drugs charges after raids

SIX people will face Childers Magistrates Court on drugs charges after a series of raids on Wednesday.

Childers Police and the Tactical Crime Squad searched seven homes in Childers and Apple Tree Creek after receiving information from members of the public.

Two brothers, aged 36 and 37, were charged with possession of dangerous drugs, producing a dangerous drug and possession of a drug utensil, after cannabis was allegedly found at their Apple Tree Creek home.

A 46-year-old woman was charged with drug possession, utensil possession and failing to safely dispose of a syringe.

Two men, aged 18 and 40, and a 41-year-old woman will also face drugs charges after the raids.
