Show a little love to your local baker

Show A Little Love To Your Local Baker Brumby's Bakery is on the search for Australia's Best Baker.

BAKERS at Brumby's Bakery Bundaberg Uptown are encouraging Bundaberg community members to vote and show their support to their local baker.

The Best Baker competition is being run across all Brumby's stores around the country, to celebrate the Australian brand's 40 years of baking history.

Brumby's Bakery Bundaberg Uptown, baker, Jessie Nielsen said customers wanting to show their support can cast their vote online via the brand's website and Facebook page.

"While our customers are sleeping, we're in store doing what we do best - preparing and producing the freshest high quality bakery products for customers to enjoy," Jessie said.

"The competition is about highlighting our skills and exemplary work that is involved in making fresh, quality products that were just ingredients the night before, so we hope locals will show their support by voting."

Jessie has worked for Brumby's for 10 years.

"I love making a quality product and being able to greet the people who take it home to enjoy with their family," Jessie said.

Brumby's Bakery works closely with their Aussie wheat supplier Manildra, to ensure the brand continues to support hardworking Aussie farmers and bring top quality Australian product to its customers.

"Our product quality is consistently high and you can taste the love that goes into our bread," Jessie said.

"All of our bread contains 100% locally sourced Aussie wheat to ensure we are using only the best ingredients."

Brumby's Best Baker competition closes on November 1; the Best Baker will be announced on Brumby's Facebook page on November 2 and will be awarded a $2,000 Visa gift card. Brumby's Bakery Bundaberg Uptown is located at 108 Bourbong Street.

Customers wanting to nominate their local baker can cast their vote via the Brumby's website www.brumbys.com.au.
