SES Bundaberg respond to 13 jobs in the region

SES Bundaberg has responded to 13 requests for help from the wild weather last night.

These requests ranged from minor flooding, which required sandbags and a few trees that had fallen over.

Acting local controller Jeff Green said the three tree jobs it attended did not cause structural damage.

"There was a tree blocking access to a driveway and there was one blocking a lane on the main road at Woodgate," he said.

Mr Green said the remaining jobs were mainly roof leaks, with gutters not coping with the large amounts of rain.

He said people needing sandbags today could visit the SES building at 7 Kendalls Rd.

Phone SES on 132 500 or visit www.132500.qld.gov.au for flood or storm help.

Phone 000 for life-threatening emergencies.
