Inside Nicole and Keith’s $4.83 million home

NICOLE Kidman and Keith Urban are selling their rustic-luxe rural retreat about half an hour outside Nashville, listed at $A4.83 million.

The Oscar winner and her country music superstar husband purchased the 14.5 hectare, two-parcel spread in 2007 for $AU 3.2 million.

The red-brick residence - clearly designed for privacy - features a long driveway through a pristine stand of woods, four bedrooms, and four full (and two half) bathrooms, according to its for sale listing online.

Bedrooms include a top-floor master suite that comprises a sitting room, separate bedroom, luxury bathroom and immense walk-in closet.

Along with several guest bedrooms and a den, the lower level has a large gym and an office.

There's a lot of natural light and the colour scheme is white-on-white.

Perhaps with celebrity residents in mind, there is a separate cottage on the grounds that can accommodate a caretaker or live-in domestic staff.

In addition to owning properties in and around Sydney, the Kidman-Urbans' portfolio includes a palatial, 12,000-plus-square-foot mansion in Nashville landed in 2008 for $US3.47 million, a contemporary Beverly Hills home scooped up in 2008 for $US4.75 million and a duplex condo in lower Manhattan's West Chelsea.
