Gold Lotto pays out $477,627 to Ipswich man

AN IPSWICH man said it was too early to say exactly what he would do with his prize money after winning a division one share in Saturday Gold Lotto worth $477,627.84.

The winner, in his 40s, said he discovered he had won first division in the weekend's draw when he checked his QuickPick entry on the internet on Sunday morning.

"It was so surreal when I realised I had all six winning numbers," he said.

"This division one win really takes the pressure off.

"I'll now take my time and have a think about what I'll do with my Saturday Gold Lotto windfall."

The winning 36-game QuickPick was purchased online.
