THE Queensland Sadies are a group of women armed with dustpans and brooms, aided by some heroic handy men and their new music video is aiming to draw attention to the issue of mining.
The Sadies say they have come together to clean out what they perceive as the "political pigsty" and to raise awareness of the unjust system that is the current Queensland Political System.
The Sadies say people should have a right to objecting to mining in the community.
"Mining companies have so much influence over our government that communities are no longer getting a fair go," Coal Free Wide Bay Burnett president Vicki Perrin said.
The Sadies' latest music video is set to the tune of Olivia Newton-John's Physical and The Sadies get all radical in response to what they say is the "Australian government's latest attempt to throw environmental activists and terrorists in the same bag".
