Rose McGowan reportedly fired for calling out sexism

ROSE McGowan says she has been "fired" by her agent for speaking out about sexism in Hollywood.

The 'Charmed' actress has claimed she was let go from the agency after she responded to a casting call, which said women should wear cleavage-baring shirts to the audition.

In a series of tweets, she said: "I just got fired by my wussy acting agent because I spoke up about the bulls**t in Hollywood. Hahaha. #douchebags #awesome #BRINGIT.

"The awesome thing about being an artist? You can't be fired from your own mind. #FREEDOM (sic)"

The 41-year-old actress and director posted a photograph of the notes she allegedly received alongside the script for a casting call.

It read: "Please make sure to read the attached script before coming in so you understand the context of the scenes.

"-Wardrobe Note: Black (or dark) form fitting tank that shows off cleavage (push up bras encouraged). And form fitting leggings or jeans. Nothing white. (sic)"

Captioning the photo, she added: "casting note that came w/script I got today. For real. name of male star rhymes with Madam Panhandler hahahaha I die (sic)"

Rose has received support from fellow actress, Jessica Chastain, who wrote on Twitter: "Her treatment confirms the misogyny underpinning the industry. She should be celebrated for speaking out."
