Roads closed by floodwaters

A NUMBER of roads in the Bundaberg region have been closed after more than 70mm fell on Bundaberg yesterday.

Bundaberg Regional Council advises the following roads have been closed:

  • Batchlers Road, Bundaberg North - Water over the road, drive with care
  • Booyal Causeway - Causeway Road, Booyal
  • Booyan Road - Off Moore Park Road
  • Bucca Crossing - Bucca Crossing Road
  • Duckpond Road, Moolboolaman
  • Goodwood Road - near Stockyard Creek
  • Heales Road at Splitters Creek
  • Kalpowar Road, Gaeta
  • Knockroe Road, Redridge
  • Monduran Road Side Track
  • Moore Park Road at Welcome Creek School
  • One Mile Road, Bundaberg North - Water over the road, drive with care
  • Wallaville - Goondoon Road closed between Geramanbulyan Creek  and Klingstroms Road (section of road washed away)
  • Waterview Road, Bundaberg North - Water over the road, drive with care

Gladstone Regional Council also advises the following roads are closed:

 

  • Fingerboard Road
  • Tablelands Road
  • Gorse Road, Baffle Creek
  • Scrubby Creek
  • Harpers Creek
  • Reid Road
  • Lagoon Creek
  • House Creek
  • Wards Road, Miriam Vale
  • Captain Creek
  • Oyster Creek
  • Captain Creek
  • Round Hill Road
  • Deepwater Road, Wartburg
  • Coast Road
  • Pearson Creek, Deepwater - 800mm over
