River rising again
TARGO Street has been closed after floodwaters have started to rise again in Bundaberg’s CBD.
The Bureau of Meteorology predicts the Burnett River will reach 4m in Bundaberg at high tide at about noon.
The river was at 3.9m at 7am this morning.
Tantitha, Walla and Park streets have also been closed.
Branyan Drive has been closed near Sandy Hook.
The rising waters should not affect any homes or businesses.
