Residents to show documentaries on mining

CHILDERS Community Against Coal and Gas will present Fractured Country and Undermining Australia, two half-hour documentaries showing the impacts of coal and unconventional gas mining in Australia.

The documentaries will be presented at 6pm on February 20 at the Childers Cultural Centre. 

A gold coin donation is appreciated. 

Childers Community Against Coal and Gas is a group of concerned residents from the local community.

The group's aim is to counter the rhetoric concerning the unconventional gas and mining industry, enabling the local community to make informed decisions.

The group co-ordinate non-violent resistance to mining, supporting sustainable business and long-term industry over short-term profits.
