Remembrance Day services to be held around the region

REMEMBRANCE Day commemorative services will be held across the region today from 10.45am, giving those in attendance the opportunity to pause, reflect and pay respect to the many brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in all wars and conflicts and died for our country.

In Bundaberg a service will be held at the Cenotaph at the corner of Bourbong and Barolin streets while in Gin Gin a minute's silence will be held at the Gin Gin Memorial in Mulgrave St.

Services will also be held at the Eidsvold War Memorial in Moreton St, the Centenary of ANZAC Memorial, Kangaroo Ct at Woodgate Beach and the Mundubbera Memorial at the top of Lyons St.
