Regatta sails into Sydney

REGATTA, the star member of Oceania Cruises, will make her way to Australian shores for the first time in February and March 2012.

Passengers will experience the best of Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific aboard the Coral Seas and Australian Adventure (Auckland to Sydney) and the Jewels of the Pacific (Sydney to Papeete) sailings.

After undergoing an extensive refurbishment under the Pillars of Distinction programme in August last year, Regatta encapsulates most what Oceania stands for: the unrivaled combination of the finest cuisine at sea, stylish accommodations, exceptional personalised service, enriched experiences on and offshore, while offering extraordinary value.

Sleek and elegantly charming, Regatta is the flagship of the Oceania Cruises fleet. Although classified as mid-size in ship standards (684 guest capacity) she is anything but in her offerings, both onboard and offshore.

Her decks are built in the finest teak, with custom stone and tile work, and her staterooms boast luxurious, neo-classical furnishings, nearly 70% of which feature private verandas. Dining is also a stand-out on the Regatta as on all Oceania ships, with four unique open seating restaurants with classic modern European and Italian influences, where passengers can dine at no extra cost.

Regatta also boasts a world class fitness centre and a Canyon Ranch SpaClub for those after a bit of pampering and relaxation. And with a passenger to staff ratio of 1.71 to 1, Regatta is the ultimate upper premium cruising provider.
