Bundaberg should be proud
I JUST visited Bundy and thought that the caravan park that was flooded could have a temporary use until a decision on it's future is made.
I got the idea from a visit to Childers where behind the main street adjacent to the Kanaka memorial they have a transit caravan park.
I thought why not use the bundy park for transit vanners to bring them closer to town.
Maybe a volunteer/community organisation mans the gate for a gold coin donation and takes the van-owners phone number.
The time limit could be 1/2 day and no overnights... just thought I'd throw it out there. What do your readers think?
Incidentally Bundy you should be proud of yourselves the town is bouncing back and the retailers could teach the southerners a lesson about service and hospitality.
Best wishes, Mark Linney.
