Rays Outdoor opens its doors Saturday

THE latest store in Bundaberg's newest retail area will open it's door on Saturday as Rays Outdoors comes to town.

Rays managing director Anthony Heraghty said the new store would cater to adventure-loving Bundaberg residents as well as drive thetourism market.

"The variety of adventures and natural landscapes available to us in Australia is unbeatable, and so many of these are accessible just a few hours out of the city areas," Mr Heraghty said.

"The Rays Bundaberg store will open in time for people planning their summer holidays, as well as the busy turtle season in Mon Repos."

The store which specalises in camping, hiking and watersports such as kayaking will also have the Bundaberg scout and girlguides be onsite giving demonstration.

The Bundaberg store is part of a pilot program of new-look Rays being trialled in Queensland, and grand opening celebration kick off from 9am with a free breakfast.Rays Bundaberg is located at 21 Johanna Boulevard, Kensington.
