Buckingham Palace has released private film of the Queen as a child to celebrate her 94th birthday.

The stunning archive footage from the Royal Collection Trust shows the then Princess Elizabeth pushing a doll's pram as a toddler and riding a horse.

Other touching moments showed the closeness bweteen the Queen and her younger sister, the late Princess Margaret.

In the clips, the Queen and Princess Margaret are shown playing in the garden as children, trying out a seesaw and patting their beloved dogs.

The footage also shows the two sisters practising dance steps with the Queen Mother.

The Queen is marking her birthday away from her family this year at Windsor Castle as the coronavirus lockdown continues.

Prince Charles paid tribute to his mother with a series of touching images showing the Queen over the years.

In one image, the Queen gazes adoringly at baby Charles in his cot.

In another, the Queen smiles as she is flanked by Charles and her daugher Princess Anne.

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is also shown riding in a carriage with the Queen and Prince Charles.
