Students' graduation present for Breast Cancer Foundation

WHILE the final counting has not been finalised, St Luke's Anglican School's Year 12 students will have an impressive graduation present for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Saturday's Ladies Pink Ribbon Afternoon Tea, organised by the students and their parents, looks to have raised close to $12,000.

Event organiser Sharon Joiner said 420 women packed St Luke's auditorium with more than 110 raffle items up for grabs, all donated by local businesses.

"We couldn't have done it without the support of the community," she said.

Adding some spice, 4 Ingredients author Kim McCosker was the guest speaker.
