Bundy RACQ office put on wheels

RACQ is known for its love of all things with wheels, and the Bundaberg branch took its appreciation to a greater level recently when its staff spent nearly three weeks in a mobile business centre.

RACQ regional manager Judi Johnson described the vehicle as a “virtual office on wheels” which was used while the Bundaberg offices underwent some renovation work recently.

“This was a great alternative location for such a short period of time,” Ms Johnson said.

“It meant we could keep serving RACQ club members while the refurbishment was underway.”

She said the Bourbong Street office was now of one of the best-equipped branches in the state, following its total refurbishment that was completed this week.

“Our customer service team has the very latest technology on hand to help members,” she said.

“The branch now features LCD screen displays to keep waiting customers up-to-date with current offers and specials.”

A retail display is located in the waiting area, allowing members to browse a range of products including child restraints, maps and guides in comfort.

“There is also a consultation room for privacy for customers who need to lodge an insurance claim or discuss RACQ finance,” Ms Johnson said.

She said the refurbished branch marked a significant milestone in the long-term strategy to refresh the club’s brand image and boost customer service levels.
