School laying out welcome map for 2016 Prep

ST JOSEPH'S School is laying out the welcome mat for all families who have a child entering Prep in 2016 with a fun program.

The eight-week program will provide opportunities for children to become familiar with the experience of coming to school and learning in a new environment.

It provides a range of experiences that focus on developing early literacy and numeracy skills, as well as fine and gross motor skills.

The program is open to all families who have a child entering Prep in 2016 - not just St Joseph's School enrolled children.

It runs from 9am-noon each Wednesday and begins on Wednesday, July 22 and finishes on Wednesday, September 9.

Parents are expected to stay with their child on the first week of the program and are welcome to stay for subsequent weeks, if they wish.

Bookings through St Joseph's School office to take part in the program are essential.
