Power pole falls on house after alleged car rampage

A NORTH Bundaberg homeowner got the shock when a power pole crashed into the home after an alleged car rampage.

Bundaberg Police said a man allegedly stole a Subaru and was seen driving erratically in the area along Agnes St.

The car struck a power pole and the driver allegedly continued down the street before winding up in a ditch.

The man fled the scene but was later found by police.

No one was hurt.
