Missing Bundaberg man found safe and well

THE man who was reported missing from Bundaberg has been found safe and well.

Police appealed for public assistance earlier this morning to help locate 62-year-old Lyall Shearsmith who went missing on November 28 after last being seen at Fairymead Rd Cafe.

Police have thanked members of the public for their assistance.

EARLIER:

Police and family are concerned for Mr Shearsmith's welfare, as he has not been in contact with them and this is out of character.

Mr Shearsmith may be driving a white 1999 Ford Festiva with Queensland registration LWS51.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, of a slim build, around 178cm tall with light brown hair and blue eyes.
