Police search 11 homes

ELEVEN people have been charged with drug related offences after the Bundaberg Criminal Investigation Branch raided 11 homes in the Gin Gin and Mt Perry areas.

Detective Sergeant Ben Fadian said about 30 cannabis plants and several quantities of cannabis were seized during the raids which took place yesterday and Wednesday.

Det Sgt Fadian said a number of weapons, including knives and nunchakus, were also seized in the raids.

About five officers from Bundaberg CIB executed the search warrants over the two-day period.

Those charged will appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court at a later date.
