Police raid Monto homes

A SERIES of search warrants were executed by Bundaberg police in homes in Monto and Gin Gin over the past two days, as part of a crackdown of criminal activity in the wider regional area.

Included in the find were stolen signs belonging to Bundaberg and Biloela councils, stolen mail from Australia Post and quantities of cannabis.

On Tuesday, police searched a home on Sittella Crt, Gin Gin where nothing was recovered.

A search in a residence on Wheatley St, Monto recovered a small quantity of cannabis and number of drug utensils.

A 35-year-old woman was charged and will appear in Monto Magistrates Court on Wednesday July 13.
