Police plea for more help over Wayne Dover's death

DETECTIVES investigating the death of Kuluin's Wayne Dover have renewed their appeal for public assistance in the case, despite three men already being charged with murder.

Mr Dover sustained head injuries after allegedly being assaulted outside the Factory nightclub at Sunshine Plaza around 3.10am on November 30.

Police are asking anyone who attended the nightclub or know someone who attended on the Friday night or Saturday morning to contact them so they can be eliminated from police inquiries.

Detectives have reviewed CCTV footage from the nightclub and have noted several people who interacted with the victim during the night, particularly around 2.30am but have not been identified.

Police are urging anyone who was at the nightclub or in the nearby vicinity on the night or early morning to contact Sunshine Coast CIB on 5475 2429 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The appeal for public help comes after Mr Dover's life was celebrated at Lifepoint Baptist Church on Wednesday.

Michelle Dover, who was with her husband earlier on the evening he was killed, said she was holding on tight to those last memories.

"We had the most beautiful night," she said.

"My last night with my man was wonderful - full of laughter and silliness and good times.''
