About 2.20pm, a Toyota Yaris and the Camry were involved in a collision on Walker St, leaving both vehicles damaged.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics attended the scene, where they treated one person for minor injuries.

Witnesses said the Yaris had smashed into the rear of the Camry while driving west along Walker St.

A nearby resident said she heard the sound of screeching tyres.

The Camry is believed to have New South Wales number plates that include the letters Y and G.
