Police examine car in search for missing boy William Tyrrell

A WHITE station wagon is being forensically examined as part of the investigation into the disappearance of William Tyrrell on the New South Wales mid-north coast last year.

William went missing from his grandmother's home in Kendall more than 12 months ago, when he was three years old.

He was wearing a Spider-Man suit and had been playing with his sister in the driveway before he vanished.

Earlier this month, police appealed for information about two cars, including an old white station wagon, that were parked opposite the house on the day William disappeared.

Police have now confirmed that a station wagon was seized on September 16, from a property in Wauchope, north of Kendall, and is being forensically examined.
