15-year-old missing from Ipswich area located safe and well

UPDATE 8AM: Police wish to advise the 15-year-old girl who was reported missing from the Ipswich area has been located safe and well.

Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter.

 

6AM: Ipswich detectives are searching for a missing teenage girl.

The 15-year-old was last seen in her school uniform on Warwick Rd, Ipswich, about 8am on November 2.

Police said the girl had been sighted in Brisbane yesterday and also made phone contact with her parents, but concerns were held for her safety.

It is thought the girl is in the company of an older man. The man has been described as 24 years old, Caucasian in appearance, tall with a slim build and large, light-coloured beard.

The girl is described as Caucasian in appearance with an olive complexion, slim build, approximately 185cm tall, with long brown hair, brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a royal blue and gold school uniform with a black backpack but may have changed into a black hooded jumper and jeans and a black cap.
