Plenty of colour and craft

THE Anglican Church grounds were awash with colour for the Parish of Goonaneman November Faire in Childers on Saturday.

Among the crafts was a display of quilts which showcased the talents of quilt makers from around the region.

Also adding to the experience was the selection of the orchids grown by Isis District Orchid Society.

The crowd was well-entertained by Treble Clef, Woodgate Singers and the Childers Choral Society plus the combination team of Childers Line Dancers and the Gin Gin Goodtime Cloggers had the toes tapping.

A clown, stalls, home-cooked produce, food, drinks, raffles, games and face-painting for the kids proved to be a winning combination for all who attended.
