Parents warned after man exposes himself near school

PARENTS and residents of North Bundaberg have been asked to be vigilant after a man exposed himself to an elderly lady at the weekend.

Bundaberg North State School sent a letter home with students to warn families of the incident which occurred outside the school at about 9am on Sunday.

The letter said a school staff member was flagged down by a distressed elderly lady who said she had been walking to the IGA when a man had come out of the drain that goes beneath the road and exposed himself to her and he was also performing other "lewd behaviours".

Bundaberg Police confirmed a call was reported to them at about 9.40am and a patrol car was sent to the area but was not able to locate anyone.
