OUR SAY: Lots to be proud of in Bundaberg

YOU know you have made it when food critic and MasterChef star Matt Preston starts talking you up.

The man famous for his loud cravats and poker face while tasting others' food is used to telling it how it is.

Yesterday he was at Bundaberg Rum mixing his own version of the world's greatest rum and he couldn't speak more highly of the product.

But it wasn't just the rum Matt was talking up, it was the whole of Bundaberg and the great produce we grow and market here.

It goes to show that the reputation for Bundaberg's amazing agriculture is spreading.

Matt's visit comes on the back of events like WinterFeast that are currently tapping into what we do best in Bundaberg.

Great food farmed and grown in one of the best climates in the world.

Bundaberg really does have a lot to be proud of.
