OPINION: Heartfelt thanks

I WOULD like to offer a personal thank you to the four people who assisted me when I was unlucky enough to have a heavy fall in the middle of Maynard St during a busy traffic period.

I was unable to gain my feet on my own and one lady stopped her car and rushed over to assist as did another person.

Fortunately my fall did not cause any permanent damage.

Two folk then drove me home, where my husband assessed my injuries.

Bitumen road ways are hard and my head suffered superficial lacerations and on good advice I was driven to Bundaberg Hospital.

The doctors and nurses and technicians could not have been more caring, wonderful treatment, wonderful people at the base.

Once again my heartfelt thanks for the assistance I received from caring people at the scene.
