One person trapped after car collides with tree

A CRASH near Kaimkillenbun has seen a woman in her 20s trapped in her car after it collided with a tree.

Emergency services responded to a call at 4.31pm after the car hit the tree on Dalby Cooyar Rd.

According to QAS Media, the woman suffered injuries to her legs, pelvis and abdomen.

A team of people were seen cutting trees off of the car to try and free the driver.

The driver was reportedly heading out of Kaimkillenbun into Dalby.

Traffic was being diverted away from the scene of the accident while emergency services responded.

She was transported to Dalby Hospital by ambulance in a serious condition, and will be airlifted from the hospital for further treatment.
