Convertible for hole in one
IN the market for a new car?
How about a brand new red Peugeot convertible?
All you have to do is enter the Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) charity golf day at Bargara Golf Club on September 10.
Oh, and did I mention you’ll have to hit a hole in one?
LGFB Bundaberg co-ordinator Dianne Schneider said the deal with local Peugeot dealer Elizabeth West was the perfect incentive for the local hacker to enter the tournament and support a good cause.
Schneider and Cheryl Hadley raise funds for the charity that helps women manage the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, helping to restore their appearance and image.
They raised $10,000 at the inaugural golf day last year and have already hosted a successful masquerade ball this year.
“We still need more entries and we are also after businesses to sponsor each hole,” Schneider said yesterday.
The specific hole and pin location will be kept secret until the day of the event.
