Now’s a great time to try something completely different

FROM photography to gardening to making that perfect coffee, this year's Adult Learners' Week is filled with activities thanks to collaboration between IMPACT Community Services, Bundaberg Neighbourhood Centre and U3A

Impact Community Services manager for innovation and research Nathan Spruce said the philosophy was that learning never stopped.

"It doesn't have to be a form of professional development it can just be an interest in something new," he said.

"And all the activities are either free or have a small cost attached."

Bundaberg and District Neighbourhood Centre spokeswoman Lorraine McLoughlin said she was excited by this year's program.

"With more than 20 free classes on offer over the five days it presents our community a great chance to get involved," she said.

Adult Learners' Week will be held from Monday, September 1 to Friday, September 5.
