No water bug, says mayor

MIRIAM Vale's town water supply has been confirmed safe to drink by Gladstone Regional Mayor George Creed.

“The town water supply in Miriam Vale is tested regularly and meets the relevant drinking water standards,” Cr Creed said.

Cr Creed was responding to concerns raised by Member for Burnett Rob Messenger earlier in the week.

“Despite suggestions to the contrary by Mr Messenger, residents have no reason to be concerned about drinking from the town supply in Miriam Vale,” Cr Creed said.
