No changes planned for Coast’s remaining Sizzler

CHEESE toast lovers can breathe easily with Sizzler Maroochydore set to continue as usual despite being one of only five restaurants left in the state.

Only last week Sizzler Rockhampton announced it was closing, leaving the Aerodrome Rd store and ones in Caboolture, Loganholme, Mermaid Beach and Toowoomba.

At least four restaurants have closed in the past 18 months, prompting questions over the Coast store’s future.

When asked about the long and short term plans for the store, a Collins Food Group spokesperson said “there are no changes planned”.
