No beer for modern Aussie blokes

IT looks like it might all be over for the traditional Aussie blokes who love their beers and barbies.

The modern Australian man no longer has time for that between his daily skincare regime and his manscaping.

An online survey by set up a questionnaire to find out what defines a real man in 2010.

According to the survey's responses, what makes you a “real man” in 2010 is being a good father and husband who takes care of his family.

Hugh Jackman is the celebrity who represents the typical Aussie bloke, and yes, 26% of us manscape ourselves – all over.

Now for the good news. When it comes to slang 50% use the phrase “G'day mate”.

And 0% say “Flamin' Galahs”.
