Kidman, Robbie ‘won’t be silent’

A GROUP of high-profile celebrities have pledged that they won't be silent against sexual assault.

Australians Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie have joined other stars including Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Michelle Williams, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Mary J. Blige in the video by W magazine.

"I will not be silent" the stars say down the barrel of a camera.

Hollywood has copped a lot of criticism over its lack of action regarding sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein and others, which many knew about but did not speak out against publicly.

"As I've stated before publicly, I support and applaud all women and these women who speak out against any abuse and misuse of power - be it domestic violence or sexual harassment in the workforce. We need to eradicate this behaviour," Kidman told People magazine.

Gal Gadot, who also appears in the W magazine video, has also refused to shoot a sequel to Wonder Woman if Brett Ratner is involved.

Ratner, James Packer's former business partner and good friend, has been accused by multiple women including Natasha Henstridge and Olivia Munn, of sexual misconduct.

"Everyone knows the way that I feel because I'm not hiding anything," Gadot said.
