NewsMail hands couple win
HAZEL and Robert Page are feeling wheely good after scoring a new mobility scooter thanks to the NewsMail.
The pair won the Aviator S8X worth $6600 in a recent NewsMail competition, with the prize donated by Mobility Aid Supplies owner John Humber.
Mr Humber said he was pleased to see the smiles on the Pages' faces when they came to collect the scooter.
“It's nice to be able to help people out,” he said. “In conjunction with the NewsMail promotions, we're able to do this every year or two.”
Mr Humber said the scooter was one of the best money could buy.
“It's the top of the range, whiz-bang, you-beaut,” he said.
“Hazel had just purchased a second-hand scooter off me the week before but now they can both have one.”
Mr Humber said the scooter was guaranteed to make life easier for the new owners.
