New Zealand buzzing ahead of final

EXCITMENT is building in Auckland and across New Zealand for the rugby World Cup final between the All Blacks and France tonight.

Already half-filled to capacity, Auckland's Queens Wharf fan zone has 6000 people camped out ready for a match sure to enliven the crowds.

Auckland Transport spokesperson Daryl McIntosh said things were flowing fairly well at the moment, with no issues.

"The trains are all fairly busy, particularly east flowing, but it is as expected,'' he said.

Mr McIntosh said roads were moderately busy and people were out and about catching buses.
