New acts wash on to line-up

THE inaugural Radiowave Festival is already creating ripples of excitement across the region as a second band line-up is announced.

Festival co-ordinator Julie Ansell said up and coming band My Fiction had signed up to play at the festival just days after winning the Q Song People's Choice Award.

“They are really breaking through at the moment,” she said.

“I think they will be huge in years to come.”

Mrs Ansell said she was thrilled with the community response toward the festival.

“People are really loving the artwork and everyone is really excited about the entertainment coming,” she said.

“To have a band like Grinspoon coming is just amazing. They are usually a headline act at the Big Day Out so it's very exciting to get them here.”

Early Bird tickets have already sold out for the event, but general release tickets are still available at a cost of $55 from the Moncrieff Theatre,, 1300 get tix and Tickets at the gate on the day are $65.

Other new additions to the line-up include Tommy ‘C', Ash Sporne, Blake Stam, Huggy, Matt Haimes, Comic Sans, The Blackwater Fever and Epidemic.

Ms Ansell said she hoped the festival would be the first of many to come in the Bundaberg region with the support of the community.
