Natalie Greer brings Rapunzel to life in Into the Woods

FROM CATS to Pirates of Penzance, Bundaberg singer and actress Natalie Greer is fulfilling her childhood dream.

After stepping onto the stage in her professional debut last year in the Harvest Rain production of Cats at the Brisbane Convention Centre, Ms Greer has not looked back.

Ms Greer is only days away from taking the stage as Rapunzel in the enchanting stage show Into the Woods at QPAC.

Working alongside Rachael Beck as the Baker's Wife, Rhonda Burchmore as the Witch and Eddie Perfect as the Baker, Ms Greer said the excitement was palpable among cast and crew.

"Rhonda Burchmore is a legend and in this she sings a couple of songs to me and with me," she said.

"It's been interesting to watch her work and feed off of her energy."

Ms Greer said fans of the Golden Globe-winning film starring Meryl Streep would embrace the stage show.

"I saw the film and it a condensed version of the stage show," she said.

"It's a fairytale with twist and about being careful what you wish for."

Into the Woods is playing at QPAC from Thursday, October 1 to Sunday, October 4.
