Mystery of Moore Park's missing dogs

A MOORE Park woman believes her dog has been taken from her yard.

Tara Mooney says her dog went missing from its yard and another dog had been taken from a house a few doors down.

Ms Mooney raised her concerns after another Moore Park woman said her dog, and a neighbour's dog, had vanished.

Another woman took to Facebook after concerns the dogs may have been picked up by a car.

"Our maltese Shih Tzu x little girl and our neighbour's white Shih Tzu male went missing this afternoon," she said.

"A grey four-door sedan in the vicinity. Quite a few other puppies/dogs have also gone missing from their yards out here at Moore Park Beach this week.

"Can everyone please keep an eye out for anyone trying to sell on these much loved furbabies or something worse?"

The dogs were later discovered, with one having died from unknown causes.

Kalila Maree took to Bundaberg's social media to ask for whoever took her pup, Roxi, to return the young staffy.

"Please help me find my baby, she is only a pup and my kids are missing her like crazy and I'm feeling a little lost not seeing her," she posted.

"She was on my cameras walking back into my backyard and someone has taken her from my backyard in Moore Park Beach, please help me get my staffy home - she isn't meant for what your planning for, please return Roxi home.

Ms Mooney's dog, and her neighbour's dog, remain missing.
